For global networks & carriers
Your network partner in Cameroon & CEMAC.
International express and e-commerce logistics networks have built West, East and North Africa. Central Africa is next — and it rewards operators who arrive with a local partner that understands corridors, customs and cash.
Why partner
A market that needs a network — and a partner built to plug into one.
We bring the ground operation; you bring the network, the systems and the volume.
An open field
Since Jumia left Cameroon in 2019, no marketplace-backed delivery network has taken its place. Cross-border demand from China is largely served by informal groupage and overseas reshippers.
One country, six markets
From Douala and Kribi you reach Chad, CAR, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Congo — one customs union, one currency, and a border with your Nigerian network.
Variable cost from day one
Our asset-light model contracts capacity per route and per volume. You are never asked to fund idle trucks or empty depots.
COD that reconciles
Collection in cash and mobile money, reconciled per waybill, remitted on a fixed schedule with a full statement.
A local importer structure
Clearance through licensed brokers, with duties and taxes handled transparently under Cameroon’s e-commerce and digital-tax rules.
Four working languages
Customer care in French, English, Arabic and Hausa; partner documentation available in English and Chinese.
Operating model
How we would run your parcels
Designed to slot into a franchise, agency or network-partner agreement.
- 01
Inbound & clearance
Air and sea arrivals received in Douala, cleared by a licensed broker, scanned into your system at the hub.
- 02
Sort & dispatch
Hub sorting by zone; contracted line-haul to regional stations; riders and vans for the last mile.
- 03
Deliver & collect
Call-ahead, WhatsApp pin, relay-point option, electronic proof of delivery, COD in cash or mobile money.
- 04
Report & remit
Scan events in your platform, exception management daily, COD remitted and reconciled on schedule.
Cash on delivery
The COD flow, end to end
Few shoppers hold bank cards, while mobile-money wallets number in the millions. In Cameroon, COD is not a feature — it is the checkout.
- CollectRider collects cash, MTN MoMo or Orange Money against the waybill amount.
- DepositCash is deposited daily; mobile-money receipts land in a dedicated merchant wallet.
- ReconcileEvery waybill is matched: delivered, collected, deposited. Exceptions are flagged within 24 hours.
- RemitFunds are remitted to the partner on the agreed cycle with a line-by-line statement.
Service levels
Targets we propose to be measured on
Proposed targets for a partnership agreement — to be finalised jointly and reported from the partner’s own system.
| Indicator | Proposed target | How it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Metro delivery time (Douala, Yaoundé) | D+1 to D+2 from hub scan | Scan events in partner system |
| National delivery time | D+3 to D+5 for opened cities | Scan events in partner system |
| First-attempt delivery rate | ≥ 85% after ramp-up | Delivered on first attempt ÷ out for delivery |
| Scan compliance | ≥ 98% of milestones | Expected vs. recorded events |
| COD remittance | Weekly (T+7) or as agreed | Statement vs. bank / wallet records |
| Claims & losses | < 0.3% of parcels | Validated claims ÷ parcels handled |
These are proposed targets for discussion, not historical performance. Transconnecta is relaunching operations in 2026 and will report actuals from the first pilot week.
Onboarding
From handshake to national coverage
A gated plan: each phase opens only when the previous one meets its targets.
- 0–60 days
Set-up
Licensing and compliance items closed, Douala hub and Yaoundé station opened, team trained on the partner’s systems and brand standards.
- 90-day pilot
Douala & Yaoundé
Live door-to-door delivery and COD in the two metros, weekly KPI reviews, joint fixes.
- Months 4–9
Ten cities
Regional capitals opened through line-haul partners and relay points.
- Months 10–18
CEMAC
Cross-border delivery to N’Djamena, Bangui, Libreville, Malabo and Brazzaville through correspondent partners.
Transparency
Where we stand today
A partner should be able to verify everything we say. This is our honest status, updated as items close.
| Item | Status | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Company registration (RCCM) | Held | Trans Connecta Limited, RC/BUA/2009/B/0061, incorporated in 2009 under OHADA law. Objects include transport & logistics, import-export and representation services. |
| Taxpayer registration (NIU) | Held | Registered with the Cameroon tax administration. |
| Tax clearance & registry update | Planned | First step of the relaunch: reactivation filings with the tax administration and the trade register after a pause in operations. |
| Private courier operator licence (MINPOSTEL) | Planned | Application to the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications scheduled as part of the relaunch, ahead of domestic courier operations. |
| Licensed customs broker agreement | Planned | Clearance is performed by licensed customs brokers; a written framework agreement is to be signed before the pilot. |
| Partner carrier agreements | Planned | Long-standing carrier relationships to be placed under written framework contracts before the pilot. |
| Douala hub & Yaoundé station | Planned | Premises to be secured in line with the partner’s volume forecast and site standards. |
Transconnecta paused operations for a period and is relaunching in 2026 with an asset-light model. We state this openly because partnerships built on verified facts last longer.
